Sam’s on series 4 of her Doctor Who marathon, so there’s been a lot of Donna Noble in her life. But she’s made time for a few fall pilots: The Good Place (tentative yes, but has weaknesses), Designated Survivor (didn’t hate it), The Exorcist (super creepy), and Pitch (feels).
Anika continues to be obsessed with Law and Order: SVU but in her defense, Vice President Joe Biden was on this past Wednesday. To talk about the rape kit backlog. It was definitely the TV highlight of Anika’s week this go round. But also:

Wonder Woman is officially queer. While Sam hopes (and doubts) Diana will ever be observably queer on the page (let alone on screen), it’s still a pretty big deal for DC Comics to announce – via the current writer Greg Rucka – that one of the Trinity, the foundation of superheroes at DC, is not heterosexual.
The CW released the first trailer/clip/whatever from Supergirl featuring Superman.
He looks great, but Sam still doesn’t care despite her 35 years of Superman love, and is waiting (im)patiently for anything featuring Maggie Sawyer.
But, really. He does look great.
